Frequently Asked Questions in Tucson, AZ
A: The material being crushed produces fines. Anything smaller than the desired size material can be considered fines. For the most part, fines can be considered powder. As stated to us by our suppliers, sized crushed material (screened) can consist of 5% to 30% fines and minus materials or decomposed granites can consist of 50% to 80% fines. These fines can be tracked and discolor other areas of your home, especially when wet, and if you have pets that go in and out of the house regularly. Rip Rap may even have some dirt in it.
A: Material is typically dumped curbside. You should mark the dumped material with construction tape, cones, etc. for safety. Any other dumpsite will depend on such things as the width of the opening, the amount of clearance, overhead obstructions, etc. You should have an alternate site selected in advance.
A: No. Payment is required before we deliver. Excepted forms of payment are cash, credit cards (no American Express), local personal checks with check writers verified AZ driver's license and phone number. If the material is not received (delivery cannot be made) due to no one meeting the truck as agreed or due to a lack of a suitable dumpsite, it is still subject to the Delivery Charge.
